This painting reminds me of aboriginal painting on charred bark. It started with lots of random colours swiped, poured then sprayed, then washed away in the bath keeping a fraction of the texture. Still not happy I plastered over it all and scrapped back, followed by yellow spraying. I love the 3d effect from this it's a joy to have around lifts my spirit.

Abstract Paintings in Acrylic how do I know when to stop! still trying to work that one out! These are the ones that istopped just in time before ruination, I guess it's a combination of space and a certain feel I'm after love the texture you get from acrylics. Tray Frames are contemporary cool!

This humble oil can in the outside space of Nick and Andys Villa in Barcelona. It tones in perfectly with Andy's rusted lanterns that surround the pool. Looks fab Thanks Guys
Fridas Corset
Finally finished Fridas Corst a homage to the great Frida Khalo. The bolts represent her body pinned together along with the plaster bodice. Vines wrap around the back with cut outs that project a back light. A hidden illustration floats inside of Fridas Dress on hanger. The thorn necklace and plaster hummingbird with feathers hand made,give a nod to one of Fridas portraits. I have loved doing this one it gives a beautiful warm glow.
